desires to re-vitalize the transport sector of Pakistan.
In this regard, efforts are underway to introduce methanol-hydrogen
fuel cell buses in major cosmopolitan cities of Pakistan.
It will not only be cost effective but also create a green
environment. 01 kW Hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle is
being developed by a project sponsored under Public Sector
Development Programme (PSDP), the schematic of which is
shown in Fig.1. It is anticipated to be completed soon for
demonstration. The fuel cell to be used in this project
is shown in Fig. 2, which will be mounted in electric vehicle
shown in Fig. 3. This development of Hydrogen Fuel Cells
in transport sector is an economically viable, dependable
and environment friendly alternative for the up-coming,
healthy and bright future of Pakistan. |
